Chris has a teaching plan and philosophy that has taken me from buying my first racquet to being a confident intermediate player in eighteen months. His approach builds layers of physical and mental ability so that each new thing you learn rests solidly on the foundation of things he has already taught you. Consequently, I always felt challenged but never out of my depth. I am now armed with a full arsenal of strokes which I am comfortable hitting from anywhere in the court. I couldn’t be more confident in the tools he’s given me or more excited to see where he takes my game next.

I’ve worked with several tennis instructors, but Chris Ojakian stands head and shoulders above the others. Not only is Chris personable, dependable, and a great guy, but his results have been astounding. My game has improved more in the past year that it did in the last 10 put together, and I have the tournament trophy to prove it.. (ok, that last bit is a bit premature, but I intend to win)

I thought my 14 year old daughter’s game was pretty good, but Chris took it to another level: Her skills improved exponentially under his kind and gentle but rigorous tutelage… and in just a few months. He’s fabulous. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

I have been playing tennis for the last 4 years and have tried 3 teachers so far. I feel that my game has improved quite a lot for the last few months that I have been taking classes with Chris. My children who also take lessons with him love him and enjoy the class. He is fun, professional and he truly cares about teaching tennis.
