10 and Under Tennis

10 and Under Tennis using the QuickStart Tennis play format takes a new and better approach to introducing kids to the game. Balls are lower in compression; they bounce lower and don't move as fast so they are easier to hit. This allows kids time to get to the ball and helps them develop optimal swing patterns. Racquets are sized for small hands, and the courts are smaller and easier to cover. All that equals more fun and less frustration. Full sized courts can be reconfigured to accommodate up to six 36-foot courts, so instead of waiting in line, kids can spend their time playing.

10 and Under Tennis follows the same logic as other youth sports like baseball or soccer: kid-sized courts and kid-sized equipment. The benefits are immediate. Within an hour kids are rallying, having fun and psyched for more. They're playing real tennis and having real fun. And isn't that the point?

Summer Session 1: June 17th-July28th

Session 2: July29th-September 8th

Tiny Tots -Age 4 (45 minutes)

Focus: Coordination drills, ground-strokes and volleys, and games

Warm-up/coordination activity, strokes, closing game/activity

Drills and games dependent upon players' level of coordination

Goal: Introduce young players to tennis and instill an enjoyment of the game.

Play on a 36 foot court with Red Foam Balls & 2’9” net height and 21” racquets

Price:  $120 session or $25 drop in rate (must RSVP)

Age 5-8

Play on 36 foot court with Red Felt or Foam Balls & & 2’9” net height and up to 23” racquets

Price:  $120 session or $25 drop in rate (must RSVP)

Age 9+10

Play on 60 foot court with orange felt Balls & & 3”net height and up to 25” racquets

Price:  $120 session or $25 drop in rate (must RSVP)

Junior Academy-

Big Hitters 1- Ages 11-16

No prior tennis experienced required

New players are recommended to join at the start of a session.

Focus: Introduction and development of tennis fundamentals and games.  Ratio 6:1

Price:  $150 session or $32 drop in rate (must RSVP)

PIZZA & PLAY DAY

Requirements:  You must be a Big Hitter or 10 & Under Player

Focus: A Full Play Day of competitions, fun games, prizes and pizza. 

Price:  $25 per child/ $15 per child currently enrolled in our Junior Program.  

We need a minimumn of 3 kids per level to have the program. You must RSVP.   

Tournament Training Program- Ages 11-18

Requirements: Players have already developed a well-rounded game with clean strokes, can maintain a rally, serve consistently, and have match & Tournament experience.

Focus: Drilling, conditioning, live-ball games, and match-play. There is a stronger emphasis on implementing effective game strategy for singles and doubles.

 Ratio 6:1

  Price:  $150 session or $32 drop in rate (must RSVP)       

Make Ups-  if you sign up for the session you are allowed 2 make ups.  You can make these up during the session on another day we offer the program. You must contact the office if you are not planning to attend a class, we do have a 24 hour cancellation policy.  If you do not show for a class without contacting the office you will not be allowed a make up.  You will need to also RSVP when you want to make up the class so we can starff properly.  You can not just show up.
