Chris Ojakian
Chris Ojakian is the owner and head professional of Ojakian Tennis.  Chris moved to Los Angeles full time in the fall of 2003 and in that time developed an elite tennis company.  Chris has been a member of the United States professional Tennis Association since 1990. He is the youngest person to receive a USPTA 1 rating in New England. For the past twelve years, Chris has been the Tennis Director at Farm Neck on Martha's Vineyard. In addition, Chris worked as a tennis professional at the five-star Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida for eight years. While receiving a marketing degree from the University of North Carolina, Chris was ranked 14 nationally in doubles. Chris's professional responsibilities over his 17 year teaching career include: teaching private and group lessons to all ages and abilities (including nationally ranked and touring professionals), owning and operating a pro shop, directing charity events, developing sports psychology programs, and coaching USTA teams.

Jensen Reed
Jensen recently moved to Southern California from Chapel Hill, North Carolina where he was the Director of Tennis at Southern Village Racquet & Swim Club.  While there for five years, he organized club activities, oversaw other pros and employees, taught private and group lessons, managed the pro shop, and served as the Tournament Director for one of the largest junior tournaments in North Carolina.  A graduate of UNC at Chapel Hill with degrees in Psychology and German, Jensen is a USPTA P1 professional and has been teaching tennis for over ten years working with all ages and ability levels.  He focuses on positive energy and enthusiasm while on the court and is extremely excited about the opportunity to work for Ojakian Tennis.

Mike Layton
Mike is a PTR and USPTA P-1 level tennis coach.  Since age 14 Mike has been working in the tennis industry from the East Coast to the West Coast.  He has been a professional at The Milbrook Club in Greenwich, CT; Burning Tree Country Club in Greenwich, CT; Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst, NC; Wild Dunes Resort in Charleston, SC; Stanford Nike Tennis Camp in Stanford, CA; Portland Country Club in Portland, ME; and a director for Freeport Tennis Camps in Freeport, ME.  At Stanford University he worked with many nationally ranked juniors and in college he was the hitting partner for the #1 Nationally Ranked/ #15 World Ranked ITF Junior.  Mike was born in Connecticut but played competitively while growing up in the state of Maine.  By age 18 he earned a top 10 singles ranking in the state.  He graduated with honors, Magna Cum Laude, from Methodist University with a B.S. in Business Administration with dual concentrations in Resort Management and Professional Tennis Management.  He played 4 years for Methodist University in North Carolina and helped lead his team to the NCAA National Tournament.  At Methodist he and his doubles partner earned a #13 ranking in the South.  Throughout his career in the tennis industry he has been working with students of all ages and always finds it rewarding to watch them develop no matter what the student’s ability level is.

Ryan Harry
Ryan has been teaching tennis now for 8 years.  He started playing tennis at age 14 and in that same year not only became #1 on the varsity tennis team, but captain as well.  Ryan was picked as Massachusetts State all-star 4 years in a row, one for each year he had been playing.  By senior year he was ranked top 10 in Massachusetts, and top 20 in New England.  Ryan started teaching at Willowbend Country Club in Cotuit, Ma at age 16 where he quickly became the highest requested tennis professional.  At Willowbend his responsibilities included training top ranked juniors in the nation, running ladies tennis clinics, along with kids camps.  His highest ranked junior reached #12 in the nation.  Ryan was also a tennis professional at the Vintage Club in Indian Wells, Ca. Along with his normal duties as the 1st Assistant Head Professional, he was asked to train the professionals that came through the Pacific Life Open.  Ryan teaches all ages and levels and always has a great time doing so.  “Having a good time is always a key ingredient in getting better.”

Frederico Rolon

Federico started playing tennis at an early age in his hometown in Baja California, Mexico. Federico played junior tennis in both Mexico and the United States. He was state champion several times and represented his state in the Mexican Junior Olympics and numerous national events. He also played junior tennis in Southern California where he was ranked Top 5 in doubles and up to Top 20 in singles in the Boy’s 18’s division. He was a CIF Champion with La Jolla High School and WTT National Champion with Team San Diego. He played #1 singles and #1 doubles for Foothill College where he was ranked #11 in the state. He then transferred to play division one tennis at Marist College where he was the team captain and played #1 doubles and #6 singles. Federico has played in numerous professional future events and satellites in Spain, Mexico, and the U.S. He has been teaching tennis internationally since the age of 14. He worked with some of the top juniors in California while teaching in San Diego, California. He holds an associates degree in Economics and a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. Federico is Bi-lingual and will be teaching lessons in both Spanish and English.

Sara Walker
Sara Walker, a UCLA Graduate in 2003, played one for the tennis team three out of the four years she competed. She was a four-time All American in both singles and doubles. Most recently, she has been the assistant coach for the women's tennis team at UCLA. She played on the tour for about a year, winning a few $10,000 Satellite events. She has been giving tennis lessons off and on since high school with all ages and abilities, and helping out with junior development programs in Texas.
   
Bobby Croll
Bobby Croll has been a USPTA certified teacher for the past two years. He has over ten years of teaching experience. One of the top juniors in Southern California, Bobby received a tennis scholarship to the University of Wisconsin - Madison where he was Captain of the team, and the only Wisconsin tennis player to achieve Four Year Academic All - Big Ten status. Bobby has experience teaching all ages and abilities. He is currently completing his Masters in Education at Pepperdine University.
