Michael Schwartz- Head Professional & Camp Director Ritz Carlton
Michael has been involved with tennis for over twenty years. He has worked in every facet of the tennis industry including teaching group and individual lessons, administration of tennis clubs and directing junior tennis camps. Michael was the sole director of the Cardio Tennis program at The Roosevelt Island Racquet Club in NYC. During that time, he owned and operated an interactive video tennis instruction company, Pro-Vid. Coaching USTA League teams has given Michael a tremendous amount of patience with players at different levels. His teaching and coaching styles are very positive and inspiring, as well as a lot of fun.
Maureen Diaz
Maureen is a former WTA tour professional, coaching touring professionals and promising juniors as well as adults and beginners. She has a superior level of understanding for both the physical and mental skills required to be a quality, successful tennis player. She has demonstrated the ability to lead players to top performance, emphasizing motivation with a positive and focused attitude. She has a strong work ethic- consistently noted for excellent teaching ability.
She has tailored clinics and training programs according to client needs and goals. She is also an associate tennis pro at Arroyo Seco Racquet Club where she teaches private and group lessons for a variety of junior players including special clinics and lessons for beginners to advanced tournament players.
As a professional Maureen competed in pro singles and doubles tournaments in U.S., Thailand, Canada, Philippines and Mexico. She won her first pro event in the Philippines and reached a high 592 in the world.
Maureen also played for the University of Southern California where she played #3 singles and doubles from the years of 2000-2004.
Aaron Paajanen
Originally from Arizona Aaron was one of the top junior tennis players as well has one of the top high school basketball players in the state. After receiving scholarship offers for both basketball and tennis he chose to pursue tennis collegiately where he was ranked as high as 10 in the country and was named to the 2002 All-American team. After school Aaron briefly played on the ITF/USTA Pro Circuit.
Aaron has been coaching full time for the past 2 years where he has worked with all ages and levels from beginners to top nationally ranked juniors and collegiate players. Currently he is in his second year as the assistant men’s tennis coach at Loyola Marymount University
Chris McEuen
Chris hails from Texas where in USTA Juniors he was ranked in the top 20 in Boys 16’s and #22 in Boys 18’s. He achieved a doubles ranking of #6 in the state, earning All-State honors. He continued competitive tennis at Collin County College where he received a national #3 doubles ranking and was a NJCAA All-American, leading his team to #3 ranking in the United States. He finished his college career playing in the Big 12 conference for Texas Tech University and followed with briefly playing on the ITF/USTA Tour.
Chris began teaching tennis in 1997 working with kids at Rice University in Texas. Since then he has gone on to teach adult lessons, clinics camps and classes at many locations. A few of the prestigious sites include The Riviera Country Club, Kingwood Country Club, Collin County, Texas Tech University and the world famous John Newcombe’s Tennis Ranch. He has experience teaching with beginners through top college level players. Chris’ unique ability to get every ounce of potential while stressing the keys to mental toughness makes his teaching style first class.
Conor Casey
Conor Casey is a former Canadian under 18 National Champion, and Canadian Men's Doubles Champion from Toronto, Ontario. He attended Ole Miss on a tennis scholarship before transferring to The Ohio State University where he obtained a top ten National ranking in doubles as well as All Big-Ten Academic honours.
After school, Conor traveled as a hitting partner for the Canadian junior squad and spent three years working closely under LTA coach Louis Cayer, and Canadian Davis Cup legend, Pierre LaMarche (Toronto Tennis City - formerly ACE Tennis). During that time he also worked as a journalist for "Ontario Tennis Magazine", and a correspondent for "The Tennis Channel", where he was responsible for providing match analysis, editorial articles, and feedback for the 2006 US Open highlight show, "On Court."
Having coached 9 Canadian national champions, Conor obtained a Level 3 Canadian coaching honour in 2009. He joins us after a 4 year stint as the Assistant Tennis Pro at The Boulevard Club in Toronto where he worked with players of all levels.
Marcin Kosakowski
Marcin has been involved with tennis, as a player, hitting partner or teacher for over twenty years. He comes from a family with a rich tradition in tennis. Marcin played #1 singles and #1 doubles at UC Santa Barbara.
Marcin has been teaching for over 3 years. He started at The Tennis Key in Westchester, CA. His responsibilities include junior and adult clinics, team junior matches, and private lessons. He has worked with numerous ranked juniors throughout his professional career. He is currently serving as the traveling coach to his younger brother, who is ranked #650 in the world.
Marcin was a highly ranked junior and collegiate player. His highest Southern California sectional ranking was #4 in Boys 18 and highest National ranking was #51 in Boys 18. His highest collegiate ranking was #52 nationally in doubles. Enthusiasnm encouragement and personal attention is Marcin’s coaching philosophy. He strives to have his students have a positive experience during their lessons.
